Thread: How about this RWD intake manifold on a FWD

As low as my lowport o2 induction manifold sits in the engine bay, I think your eyes are deceiving you all...

The runners on your manifold go back. The ones on the other go upward bringing the while thing up. Regardless, I have no care in whether or not it would hit the hood, there's no point I can see in having the tb angled upward like that.

i think the angle of the pics is misleading.. look again.. ya the TB is tilted up, but i dont think its actually That high up..

I can't help but feel the throttle body attaches in the normal place, and it's been disconnected and simply rested on top of the intake manifold. The bracket attached to it also makes me think that, because if you attached the TB down low where it probably really goes, that bracket would seem to attach to the engine somewhere for support. Then, all the hoses would make more sense too. They wouldn't look like they've been pulled away from their normal path.

twist the TB to its correct position and everything will fit fine, and yes that angel of the pic is wacky, the motor is already tilted forward plus the shot from above makes it look worse.

Yeah, it's a rat's nest I'll be cleaning it all up/out once I get to spend some quality time with my baby

did you find this engine off craigslist i seen a engine that looked just like it, i tihnk they were selling it for like 6k+

That intake is weird. If you flipped it over, the TB would be in the right orientation for a RWD SR, but the fuel injectors would be underneath instead of on top. Very strange.

Maybe that engine was being used in some crazy custom tube-frame car or something. The way the wastegate is sticking out the front I don't think it'd fit a B, P, or S chassis at all.
