I'm actually at 170k on the original stock gearbox. Its taken some abuse but I don't drive it much. All I have is the gen 1 Miko bar .99 clutch spacer and prothanes on a stage 1 clutch.


I agree on the heavyweight being overkill. I ran it in my old 200sx and it honestly liked the lightweight stuff better. I destroyed a transmission with both the heavy and the light so neither are a saving grace.

Shockproof won't save you from mechanical failure (blowing third or whatever), but it will provide really good protection against wear from friction. I run it in my turbo car's RS5F70V and my 200,000 beater. I've used it in the beater for about 50,000 miles.

Let's just all see if we can group buy new P11/B15 trannies from Nissan. Tell them to bring back the SR too while we're at it! MR20 FTL. I was hoping this motor would actually be good. Sigh.

same here, i made a lady pop her hood one time, lol.. then saw the mr20 an was like OH!
