I had a Digital 6 in my SE-R for a while and I 2 stepped that car hundreds of times with no issues.

My first dizzy ceased to function, after the CAS practically ate itself. No idea how it happened, but when we pulled the dizzy apart, the CAS itself was warped and the slits in the disc were all chewed up. From what it looks like, the CAS somehow caught the optical pickup? Not sure exactly. All we know for sure is that the CAS was destroyed, and there wasn't any debris in the dizzy that would have been the culprit.

Dizzy #2 had a screw completely chew up the insides. (Maybe that doesn't count?) What was funny was that I actually put loctite on the screw! This was a dizzy in one of my friend's cars here locally in El Paso.

Oh! And while we're on the subject, The little capacitor on a B14 dizzy esssploded once and left castor oil type **** all over my engine bay Wouldn't count that as an all out dizzy failure though, it was an easy fix.

Is there a way to wire a 2 step controler on the 6a's so I don't have to go through the process of ripping it out the car again.
