Thread: ga16 to sr swap wont start!

91-92 harness is different from the 93.

one connector should be up near the radio area towards the driver side. the other one is lower near the astray/climate control area towards the passenger side. correct on the green to the relay part.

Can you snap some pictures?

harness wont work corrrectly and yes you do need both thoes dash clips which i metioned to be pluged in

one plug is for a relay. the other one has 3 wires. i black with red strip, a white, and a blue, what do i have to do with that one? there are no plugs that aeven have the same wires going to them in the dash harness

you won't find the same plug because the 93 harness is different from your 91-92 harness.

find the radio harness, follow it back until you see another set of wire coming off it. that's the connector your looking for and they're not the same as the one on the engine. also, there should be 2 extra lead coming off the engine harness. it's for the speedo, but your car speedo is cable driven.

yeah dude it aint that hard to find the 2 plugs. i mean to take the harnes out you have to disconect them to take the harness from behind the firewall...

read and read this good.. this is the last time any of us is going to say this

1. your not going to splice into anything because it will not work
2. it does not matter what year sr20 you have as long as 91-94 to keep it simple
3. whatever year car you have you will need the SAME YEAR HARNESS for the swap

so that means you will need a 91-92 sr20 harness to go with your 91 sentra because 91 and 92 harness is the only harness you can interchange between thoes years

this is to jen36....if you look back and read this entire post you will realize that not one person told me that i needed the same year harrnes.and jen36 this is what u told me...
