Thread: Anyone know this car/engine?

I've been watching this NX2000 on craigslist for a while. Thinking about checking it out. Curious if anyone knew anything worth mentioning about this exact car or this exact engine. I thought I remembered seeing the engine for sale on here a while back maybe? Is this guy on here?

I actually bought my tranny from him, seemed like a pretty cool dude.

He's been on the forum since 02, so that's a good sign. You can probably look through his old posts to gauge whether or not he seems to be a competent individual and what issues the car has had over the years.

It may have some rust from the little bit you can see of the door jams and engine bay, but it's hard to tell from the pics. Aside from that it seems pretty nice.

Why would he have a boost guage on an N/A car?

seems like it was boosted or he was getting ready to boost it

If you check it out in person you can look to see if it has the oil return tapped. He might have boosted it, then taken the parts off to sell it.
