Here nis a clue to know what tranny you have if it is already installed.

G20 Tranny in 3rd gear 7500 RPMs 100 MPH and 8000 RPMS 108 MPH

SER tranny in 3rd gear 7500 RPMS 92 MPH and 8000 RPMs 99 MPH

Then it's an SER tranny. ;-)

Does the statement above take speedo error into account? I see (At most) 94 MPH on the speedo and our ECU's limit at 7250 over here. (UK spec SR20DE's - currently in the car)

Nope Thats a G20 tranny.

7500 RPMs on that tranny would be about 98 MPH which is way closer to 100 than 92 so it is a G20 tranny.

Remeber most of these JDM trannys are g20

Im assuming my speedo is between 5 and 10% out...but you could be right. How can I confirm for sure? There are some guys with similar cars to mine (different year models) that reach higher speeds in 3rd..

Looking at the gear ratios it seems a P11 tranny with the 4th gear from a SER tranny would give pretty good all round ratios correct?

Now if only I can figure out how to identify a P11 tranny (00-02)...

You can not change the gears from a B13, B14 P10, N14 N15 and 99 P11 tranny to the later P11 and b15 tranny. They are completly diffrent.

P11 and B15 the same and interchangable

B13, B14, P10, N15 and 99 P11 are the same and interchangable.

Are SR18 gears interchangable with B13 trannys?
