Exhaust Wall thickness

What is the minimum wall thickness a person should have for a mandrel exhaust? I've seen them range from .03-.07, and can't find any threads on it.

Thicker the better for mandrel man. I have seen some pipes that look paper thin, not that it is horrible, but they will crack or develop rust faster, not to mention being louder and more raspy.
