Well the guy asking is in (I think Atlanta), and the owner was looking for a mechanic on Craigslist not too long ago, so I'm sure he doesn't know how to do it.

Plus I'm not going over there.

Looks like he's trying to get the thread deleted. If someone is over there, they need to post a request to not delete the post, and keep it up so other people can get redirected to it.

They will lock the thread but not delete it,they will leave it for viewing. He said he did a compression test on one of the pages. After seeing what I have seen, I don't believe him. My friend who is a master toyota tech and has had many sr20det's, thinks that it could be blowby due to no vacuum from a pre turbo source to the valve cover. He also said that he has misdiagnosed ring prblms before, usually due to pcv problems

what about all that coolant on the trans? Honestly I wouldnt take a chance but its not my money or time so what do I care. Have fun rebuilding a motor from jgy

The coolant is from the coolant hose to the back of the intake mani, mario told me the same thing, that's no biggy

And I'm trading him a svt contour for it, the contour has been sitting in my drivway for 3 months, so its no loss to me

I bet in a few weeks there will be a Contour with a Stroker kit listed on Craigslist in Murfreesboro.
