location of notches in det pistons and ve pistons, the same ??
like the title states, im trying to clear up some questions i have about the skirt notches in det and ve pistons in regards to oil squitors.
are they in the same place on both pistons ?
reason i ask, i plan on tossing in bigger mm pistons into a ve and say if i get the pistons from cp im sure they model there pistons after det ones. so with that being said a 87mm high compression det piston (will have wider and deeper valve reliefs) will fit straight up in a bored ve block (wont hit the ve oil squitor) ??
and one other question 87mm is the biggest bore that can be had on a stock sleeve or is 87.5 or 88 possible and if so how safe ??
stratton.
