The DASH video compilation
I was just wondering if there was anyone on here that may be willing to put together another compilation video for the DASH. I can get tons of video from the UtahNissans guys, but I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this? I think it would be really cool, since I missed all the compilation videos on the SR20forum.

I would do it, but I have never done one before and I would need software.

I just thought it would be really really cool if we could get all the videos done this summer and have a compilation video made this fall. It would be really wicked.

Sorry if this is in the "wrong" section, but since it contains no actual video (only asking of some opinions) I decided to post it here so it gets seen.

I think it's a great idea, you don't really need any special software outside of Windows Movie Maker that comes with XP SP2 by default.

If no one steps up, I would definitely do one.

And you don't really need any special plumbing device to take a shіt in your pants. As long as you're relieved, who cares about the rest of the outcome?

I'm not saying you need bells and whistles, it's just that coming from a editing background, I can't imagine being able to work with it. On top of that, 99% of videos made with it are terrible, and maybe a good 25% of that is the program itself (it encourages people with zero skill to make videos, it encourages horrible title screens, bad quality video, etc.). I mean, video quality is obviously of no concern since YouTube is involved.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you shouldn't do it or saying I could do any better. I can't. I don't have any free time. I'm glad someone like you has the time Vadim. Just giving Movie Maker a good ribbing. =]

I already tried to make one about a year ago but no one even responded to my thread. I am far from skilled but I would love the experience to try and put a video together.

The only thing I ever liked about movie maker is it will take mp3 format audio. When I made the switch to other programs they all had to be converted. But movie maker gets blown away after that...

That said, Vadim if this ball gets rolling and you want me to give it a shot, or help out let me know!!

Oh no Ben I agree with you Windows Movie Maker sucks, but it's just like Paint is. It has 0 features, sucks a lot, but is very light and easy to use.

I don't have much experience with video editing software, but have cut videos with Movie maker to upload to Youtube.

It's all about getting the ball rolling and getting some media for the video, afterwards I will try something in Movie Maker, if it sucks then well see if someone else can use a better program

Dudeman do you have better software that you could work with?
