What do you mean? It does look a little funny but it will look fine on the NX.

I had a 3" on my SE-R for months NA. Waaaaaay too loud. On the NX that would be even worse. Right now it has 2.5" from the flex pipe to the glorified resonator out back. No resonator and a cat. If it didn't have that plug that makes it just sound stupid it would be downright undriveable. I have no idea how the previous owner even rolled it out his driveway.

Well it seems like a 4" tip on a 2.5" pipe haha. Kinda like it does with my STI muffler but I had no control of the tip

I think it will look fine. You are so into the sleeper thing. Its not like some kind of ricer tip.

Naw That's ok. I might hit the back of the can with a bit of black to keep it from glaring drivers behind me but I think it will look good on the NX.

This is what is on there now. Without the plug it sounds like total ****. With the plug it sounds really really lame.

Fair enough, but I do like the idea of painting it black .

Cops around here are pretty picky, so I tried to avoid having anything "flashy" and anything that the general ricer public does.

I wouldn't sweat it. If the Popos in your area are like they are here it's not an issue. Everyone and their mother have loud as rice-cans with huge tips here in ABQ. I'm not saying that it's to big or rice at all. Personally, I think it looks good and obviously you spent some $ to have it welded on there. So, why paint it or cut it off?

This is wrong ... Ill take care of this for you. It should be welded flush to the muffler so that it sits flush with the rear bumper.

Brian is calling the welder back for a "do-over". After my initial test fitting, we determined a shorter tip would work better. It should be welded to the muffler like this, but with the shorter tip you have. The shorter tip directly on the muffler will look perfect on an NX.
