Well, after some investigation and frantic scratches of my dome... I figured everything out :::knock on wood:::
First of all, thanks for all the quick help yall... it gave me the motivation to make **** happen...
Checked all fuses... and the links in the bay... they were all good... summa bitch.
This morning I charged two of my batteries and tested them, all good...
This afternoon... I started the car, and first checked the alternator w/ my checker... code f07 aka "bad alternator"... okay. Hooked up a nissan data scan device and to my avail, yep... charge read 12.6volts and slowly dropping... figured that solidified it.
For ****s and giggles I chalked that up and disconnected every ground & power source wire I could find... Every connector i could find and wire brush/dremelled the hell out of them and cleaned them up, all bolted down connection I unbolted and removed residue if there was any... Battery read 11.9 now before I started... yep... but got it started again... Started playing around with the voltmeter...
Miraculously the 12.1v and dropping started to climb to 14.3... whoo hooo... :backflip: It held... so alt is good...
Took a break to eat with the girl... went back out to play.
Started switching around a few relays around and tried to figure out why the **** wouldn't work. After about a half hour I start playing with them and come to find out the LAST one I checked (bottom one underneath the dash) was bad... turn signals and cluster, power windows come forth - riseth. So now I just need a blue relay for it, sweet... grab one poorman discount at the yard. Funny thing was... the dome light never came on... I took the bulb out and it looked good... i figured it was a dud... oh well, 2 dollars at auto zone.
Then a wierd thing that happened.... I was playing around with the impakt device and just sitting in the car while it was running... and out of the blue the dome light pops on by itself? wtf... Oh well! I saved a couple bones! lol... anyway
Last but not least, got all my spark and fuel in check - its all there, did the screwdriver trick... even switched out the #3 injector just to see if that was my problem as suggested via Coach Flippa. All the injectors were getting elec current... Pulled each wire and after some investigation... and following my gut feeling... Cyl #3 isn't firing because there must be no compression at all. I dipped a probe in there and there is oil & a lil gas resting on the piston :eek2:
All in all, its running... Limpin, the Vacuum is at about -16mmHg @ 188 degrees warmed up, electronics are working. and Volts are at where they should be... Not sure if a ring is done, or maybe a valve is open or something.
So... there's the ending to that love story
I guess she's about ready for work after I source me my blue relay from the yard...
Thanks Everyone for your help... Success!!!, well kinda
Ameen
P.S. I will check tomorrow to see if the battery has held its charge... after that its prep time...
