Thread: sr20 help

ok so i been trying to figure this out but came to a end.all cyclinder is getting spark and fuel # 4 is not fireing? i change spark plugs,plugs,injectors,fpr,cap,rotor,coil, and it still doing the same thing.so if any body can help thanks.the car is a se-r sr20

compression test it, if the cylinder is low you can pop the valve cover and check to make sure the rocker arms are still in place. SR's dont just loose compression very often unless they are very much abused as far as routine maintenance goes such as oil changes so i would pop the valve cover.

But first make sure the injector is firing you might have a broken wire to the #4 injector. It happens alot especially if this is a b13 sentra. The wires vibrate alot and break right at the connectors. Just give the wires a nice tug enough to where if it was broken that you would break the insulation around the wiring. Dont over do it but i bet this may be your problem. It has happened to me and my buddies car. Its pretty common. If so then just buy a new injector pigtail and wire it in and be set.
