I say starter as well. If your starter is in the car and has two bolts already then maybe you have the wrong bolt in there. I would take them out and compare them to your bastard bolt.

The bolt with the pointy tip is for the driver's side transmission mount. At least that's where it was on my car, and that's what Greg V sells when you ask for that bolt.

Maybe they used another one in the rear of the cross member, but not on my car... =/

if you have a/c, it might be one of the bolts that hold the compressor on, they're damn long too.

Who the hell takes the AC off to do a clutch job? I'm pretty sure he didn't take out the entire engine.

Also, someone else said alternator bolt... Who takes that off to do a clutch job?

Well then that needs clairifcation - did you take out the engine to replace the clutch? if so, then by all means he would take off the a/c - not the alternator mind you, but the a/c for sure he would.

LOL - Im with you on this one. Those are on the opposite side of the motor. You gotta be a tool to remove that one to do a clutch job.

Also, for the last time:

I'm 100% sure its not the starter bolts. Stop suggesting that please. Thank you

It's not a a starter bolt. I'm 99.99999% sure its part of the rear motor mount bolts.

Might not be the one that goes into the motor mount, but there are 3 other bolts that hold the bracket.

And I think two of them could easily be this long.

Vadim said the next person to suggest its a starter bolt will get a temporary ban. You have been warned

There is a possibility one could mix up the rear bracket bolts with the a starter bolt. Maybe you have one of them mixed up, and while it threads into the starter, it might only be in a few threads. Can you see the backs of the starter bolts protruding out of the threaded holes in the starter? Because they should have a mm or two sticking out.
