Nice honda info for the people interested on this. ECU Pinouts + VTEC wiring info - HondaCivicForum.com and you can found the SR20 OBD-I out on PLX device.com. Any pic about the honda distributor mod? How to put the honda distributor on nissan head?

So is this for OBD I cars only ?
If we live in a state with emissions, how do we still pass, leave the Nissan ECU in place in monitor mode and let the Hondata do the driving?

I just heard about this from a couple of friends. They were up there last weekend racing their silver ek. If i build another nissan, i am definitely going to try this out! There are honda parts all over the place over here and hondata/neptune is really easy to use

they brought back some stickers too

[ There are othe people besides calum to contact to get boards done on this forum.[/quote]

Can you shine some more light on this??? Or mabey you are talking of alternatives like Nisstune, can you specify?

I don’t want to mess with my harness at all either, but honestly this seems like the next best thing.

I can see where you say stick with the calum, but what about those who didn't get a chance to get one. They are really hard to get. If I had one I would hold on to it like a treasure.

So far I have seen him support members who already have his boards. As far people asking for new orders, I have seen no replies from him at all.

well it depends on your application, the price of the aem should be slightly going down on the price of the 1st gen as there is a series 2 coming out that make slight improvments over the 1st gen, althoughi wouldnt look for the 1st gen being any lower than 1k as its still worth the money. but the aem system is really good and if you setup requires precise tuning that is where its at, and now that series 2 is coming out that makes what i think leaps and bounds improvments over the series 1 its going to be really hard to beat it if you are truly looking to get every ounce of power out of your car and have your seriously modded car run like a stock car, this is going to be truly hard to beat.

im not 100% on how much the whole honda system costs at this point for the system conversion ect

Nistune looks to me to be the same as Calum, but they are a company and have agents in the usa.
you can get your ecu modded in TN, or order the parts from OZ

I was considering going this way and buying the proper equipment to de-solder and solder the ECU board.

right now I am not ready or the car is not ready depending on your perspective, so its in a holding pattern

Its worth mentioning that both use the Nistune software !!

Like most on here I want a good low cost solution.

AEM is a good product no doubt, but it takes just as much money and wiring mess. Hondas are every where.
