Injector issue
I'm not getting any fuel in cylinder 4. However, when I test for injector operation on a different cylinder connector (1, 2, or 3) I can hear/feel the clicking of the injector. When I test the same injector on cylinder #4 connector I do not hear anything. I measured voltage across the terminals and it was there. I haven't measured resistance but that shouldn't make a difference if I'm getting voltage, should it?

Also, I've tried 3 different injectors. I also know I'm getting spark as I have tested for that as well.

The injector harness for #4 is hacked up, and I'll try repairing that next, but the fact that it had proper voltage makes no sense to me.

Any thoughts or tips should be helpful. I'm down to improper resistance and crappy harness connection, but if anyone has any other ideas of what it could be please let me know.

Is it properly grounded? Even though you are reading voltage on the #4 inj. on the harness doesn't mean that it will work,DC electrcity has to have a ground.

I'm not sure where the injectors are grounded but check it out, if the ground is gaffed up the voltage wont flow across it, if you check the voltage between the positive and the neg. terminal ont he batt. you will read voltage.

I checked the ECU terminals and there is slight corrosion around 4 of the pins, one of them includes the #4 injector. I'm going to clean up the wiring and look for an ECU, I'm hoping the new ECU will solve the problem.

Dropped a new ECU in and cleaned up the wiring/replaced the injector clip and engine ran on all four.
