I have prothanes in my SE-L and its not bad at all. Even at stock idle.

And I have been wondering something myself.. Because I have been in cars with black and red colored prothanes. And I don't know if its just me or the car but I did notice that with the black prothanes the car vibrates alot more than the red prothanes. Now is it possible that there is a difference in the material they use between the color?

Weird, I have red's in my B14 and you can tell they are there. I have heard that the black ones contain graffite which makes them squeek less but not sure about stiffness.

I love mine, and i drive it everyday in the summer. Yea it can be annoying but it is better than the alternative. Get the prothanes if you plane on future mods. No way around it.

It is a good compromise to run stock or softer mounts on the tranny, like ES or stock.
Then run prothanes on the crossmember and dogbone.
It keeps the motor from moving too much front to back, while making less vibration than all 4 prothane.

One time,on a stock nx,I used an ES rear, and ES dogbone with the other mounts stock....huge difference, but no additional vibration.

all you really need is the 2 that replace the cross members mounting points. the tranny mount and the side mount dont move much unless your pull more than 280ftlbs and have R compound tires.

on a side note i snaped a place racing rear cossmember mount at about 260-280 ftlbs on a hard 2-3 shift on falken azenis tires. snaped the front tab off about 1/4" after the weld.
