Damaged airflow meter that is reading the wrong air flowing and so to compensate it's raising the amount of fuel thats going in?? Could that be a cause?
There are so many things that could be a factor in this.... what you need to do is start eliminating things so you know it's not an issue.....

You could bypass the rail and FPR and hook the return straight to the feed line where it hits the filter. And catch it before it goes to the tank. This would clean all of the lines out again including the return. Then maybe get a new filter again just to make sure and manually flush the rail. Just a thought, its hard to say what it is now.
Have you checked the pressure with just the key on and not running since it stalled?

Definately gotta do this,I guess
I am gonna pull the sender out and look in the tank again while I am at it.

Stalled out because it was low on gasSomethings wrong there tooGuage was not to E yet,and no fuel light

Oh, that explains that. I guess there is another thing to add to the list. But are we not back at the original issue? Does it run now with gas in the tank? It still could be the gauge.

It is running fine again,bu still 80-90lbs pressure.
I still find it hard to believe the guage quit working during the swap,but stranger things have happenned.
