Need help asap! sun roof issue
I did a thurough search first. My wife has a 94 g20 with a factory sunroof. The switch to raise the sunroof up/down has never worked. The switch to move it back and forth has always worked and we have never had a issue. Today she was sittign at a stop light and the sr tilted up and is locked in that posistion. I pulled the assembly down and none of the wires are connected to the up down switch and a tannish (sorry im colored blind)wire on the back and forth switch looks recently broke. If i touch this wire (tannish) to the broken wire coming out of the switch the motor makes a noise like its running but it will not close the sr at all. I have no idea why they sr popped up because this has never worked. I looked at the fsm for this car and i cant seem to find a sr or wiring diagram. I dont even care if it worrks i just want to close it before it rains tonight. Please help.!!!!!

Thanks bro..you helped me on my other electrical issues. I called a fellow member(fosters) and told me about the manual crank down. I dont care if the roof works or not so i cranked it manually. The car is so beat from dd highway communting its not worth the effort to fix that stuff. Again thanks

Yep. Glad to help out..

Josh is correct.. Their should be a allen wrench crank to lower and close the window.
While in there, tape off all loose/frayed electrical wires/components to avoid this happening again. A stray unprotected wire probably touched something and caused it to open..

Tell Josh hello for me..
