Anyone ever replace a headunit on a P11?
So i'm about to replace the crappy Bose HU on my P11, so i can't just wire it in like i can my B13 because of the factory amp.

I bought this but i think i may have gotten one connector wrong..

when i plug in the harness into the output side , 2 of the pins stick out wtf??

is it supposed to fit this way??

Not really sure what you got going on there. I used a Scoche line converter when I replaced my Bose unit. Everything matched up nicely with the harness.

Do you have pics of the pins that are sticking out?

Yeah, that don't look right. Can you move the adapter over or flip it so that the white/white&black wires make a connection? I dunno, I don't have a G20, but I do know factory amps can be a PITA.

ok so i found out what the problem is, they have the wrong listing on the website, the wiring harness they sent me is an 18 pin, and the correct one is a 16 pin...

i'll tell them to change the listing

Yeah, it shouldn't look like that. It should just plug right in. So you gonna return it for the 16 pin?

Ok so i replaced the headunit yesterday after the new wiring harness came in , but my power antenna doesn't go up now.

Should i splice it into the remote wire ( blue with white ) ?

btw the install took me less than 1 hour from start to finish, the PAC OEM wiring harness kit rocks

There should be a power antenna wire. If I remember correctly it's black/red on the factory side and blue/white or blue coming off the aftermarket deck.
