This is an example of why you should get an S2K

I had a E46 M3 back in like 2001 , great car , I would love to have another one ...someday , and the S2k's are awsome as well the a compltete blast when boosted , to around 400whp unbelivable , GT3071R an you can steer it with your right foot , but the M3 is more of an all weather by that I mean rain type car , but you can get some nice hardtops for the S2k , I say S2k if it is a project and you have other dailys , or the M3 if you are buying a car you want to drive everyday , and the Bimmer parts from what I here are far more money , ( ie. exhaust intakes ect. Z) compared to the S2k

Listen to what everyone is telling you. I miss my B13 SE-R so bad. Five years later and I'm still kicking myself in the butt for getting rid of it.

I went to the S13 world, and you're right, it's played out and not worth it to me anymore, which is why I got rid of my 240 before I deployed here to Iraq. I'm going to have my '07 Sentra, my '91 Miata, and I'm looking at the FWD SR20 market at this time. I'm coming back with a bang!

If I were you, I'd add the S2k to your line of vehicles instead of getting rid of the egg. S2ks are numerous times more reliable and cheaper to maintain, and are a lot of fun to drive. Its also on my dream-list of cars I'd like to own one day.

I dont care for the s2000,personally but its a great car for sure.
How about a z32? Even the na cars are fun.
Or a like 03 350z there are alot of deals on them.
Sorry just trying to keep you in the Nissan Family

Ya i was thinkin Z32 but with all the wiring issues and trying to find a clean body is a challenge that comes with the price tag of an... S2000

I would own one of those in a heartbeat if i could find a clean one because in canada all you find are rust buckets. Definitly not worth putting a lot of cash to fix up.

Unfortunatly they arent as uncommon as you would think. The silvias are way too played out with the skylines not far behind. Reliability issues comes with the RX-7s and Supras are easily $30+. But the GTi-R is something i didnt think of. thanx for the suggestion, something to think about for sure.

My dad has a 2002 mint condition s2k... and although its a very fun to drive car... I would rather keep my nx. All monetary value and panty dropping appeal aside - the nx is just more comfortable.

If its a financial decision... then I can understand. But chances are, even on a 5 year old s2k the the warranty will be null aside from the used car dealer you buy it from (if they even do that any more).

The s2k is a great car , if i replace my 200sx it will be for a s2k. i say go with the s2k, i sold my bimmer for a G35 sedan black on black

I agree, great driving car, smooth and powerful, but OMG the cost when things go badly is enough to make you cry. I'd never buy a used E46, at least not without a very comprehensive warranty - if you have top end trouble, it is insanely expensive if you're out of warranty. Even with a warranty high mileage E46, no thanks!

The S2K is reliable and also a great driver's car, but still kind of pricey IMHO for what you're getting. Honda parts are also expensive, go look up the cost to maintain an S2K to comparable vehicles, Honda has too many $600 water pumps and things like that in their newer cars, it's like owning a 944 for parts.

Keep the 200SX, buy another car you want when you want, personally the prices on decent used Z33 350Z's are insanely low these days. Just do your homework.

edit: Btw I also drive an '04 G Coupe 6MT, great car - as is the sedan. A killer deal would be to snag a 2007 MY sedan coming off lease, but I also like the 05-06 MY sedan, too. With the number of cars moving off lots today, if you have coin I am sure you can cut some killer deals.

I'm first in line for the NX. I know the love for the car, and I've driven in it and I want it. Let me know your price roughly and I'll try to get the scrape together for when you do sell it. Sorry to hear you're thinking about selling it tho.

Just so you's aware, I'm going to garage it and only drive it in summer - of course - the 01' sentra will be the winter beast. Dont want no rust getting to that beauty no how!
