I don't have tools to measure runout, however the pulsation in the pedal, and the fact that they didn't lay flat on a planing table (true horizontal and level) made me call them warped.

It felt just like an out of balance tire does, just that wobble you get in whatever corner of the car at speed.

I do know that the rotors were still fairly thick, I want to say it was only a few thousandths worn of the new ones.

Well, severly warped rotors could cause a shimmy at high speeds, but if it was THAT warped you would know it because the crazy vibration in the steering wheel while braking. I mean to the point of it being uncomfortable and unbearable.

I have had ridiculously warped rotors where if you slightly touched the brake pedal the whole car would shake, but the vibration at highway speeds was minimal at best.

I think a bad axle or wheel bearing would cause a more severe shake to be honest...

Definately the cheap Tiaweneese rotors. I have Brembo blanks on now and it is definately night and day.
