Different results with Different Brands ?!
Well these past two weeks I've tried using Shell Gas for a week and then Chevron the next. And I noticed that I got better gas mileage with Shell.
I used 89 Octane for both brands. And I only drove to school and back.

Just wondering do you guys experience certain brands of Gas giving you better results (MPG and overall performance) compared to others ?

Gas can definitely be better depending on where you get it. I got some gas at a Circle K once and my car ran like crap until I emptied the tank. Only 91 octane from Diamond Shamrock for me now.

I use BP with invigorate. I did notice on my Matrix that i got a little better gas millage a couple weeks after they started advertising it. Could be coincidence though.

shell = 29-30mpg
citgo = 27-28mpg
mobil/Bp/ sunoco = 24-26mpg
supermarket/cumberland farms = 23-25mpg

I drive 650 miles per week and calculate my gas mileage every fill up. These are my findings. There is only one chevron in CT and it's out of my way but people swear by them. I might have to check them out. BTW this is all on a turbo p11 with 200k+ miles duing spring and summer months. Late fall and winter subtract about 5mpgs from each number. All gas contains 10% ethenol. If it was straight gas I'm sure I could hit 35mpg maybe even 40. My best recorded mileage ever was 34mpg on a trip back from NJ to CT. Don't know if that gas had ethenol or not.

I haven't looked into it. As long as my car doesn't detonate or break up on full boost I'm happy. I tend to get into boost to much to worry about gas mileage. Regardless gas is now $2.45 in Orlando, Fl.

Also isnt ethenal GOOD for our cars since E85 makes the car detonate less since its like race gas.

I like the way you think!

I love people that spend as much time and have as much detail about their MPG's as myself

I found this interesting but I've been driving around in my wife's auto P11. Average mpg was 23MPG city with Exxon 87 gas. Today it was freaking 16MPG!!!

I'm emptying out this gas tank and this car will only see Shell gas, just like my blue one
