OK I will qualify this a bit, I've only heard of allmotor 88mm engines & not boosted ones so I don't know how they would go on those.

Well thats all good to know.

I was asking this as it would be easy to build a 2.1 L, 12.5 to 1 VE motor with a 88 mm bore.

Just buy some 88 mm pistons bore block out and drop them in.

The GTiR blocks were designed to be used in BTCC and JTCC where they bored them to 88mm and used a 82mm crank which was 1995cc's.

I know the GTiR blocks were cast with the liners thick enough to reliably do a 88mm bore. I would imagine the std blocks all use the same liners and 88mm would be ok as well.

I have done 2 87.5mm turbo builds before. both about 475whp

What's the maximum piston size you can go with a standard VE headgasket?
