Thread: Should I trade for an S14

I'd go for the S14. They feel way better than S13's so it's a win for you. LOTS of options when it comes to that car. LOTS LOTS LOTS LOTS of options.

The S14 is worth more then the G20. A LOT easier to sell too, I might add. Here the early 90's 240's tend to fetch around 4k almost entirely stock. S14's go for a lot more. I've seen one's that have a lot of mods and with a clean body go for over 10k... and in a hurry too.

Ima gave to disagree with you guys. There's a good amount of money in that G20 to just trade for a stock S14.

I don't think I would do a straight trade, tbh. You've got money tied into that g20. I would ask for cash on top if he's serious.

4K for a 90 240 stock?! Wow those ppl took drift tax to a new level.

This is a very tough decision.

From what you specified as the S14 being super clean, IDK what to pick. My original car choice from the beginning was a 240sx SE. I ended up with a 200sx SE-R. But I have fallen deeply in love with my car and this world of FWD autos.

So for me, I just don't know. I love putting my pride and efforts into a car, that means alot to me. So to just hand it off is tough. Yet you are handing it off for a seemingly mint S14 with a suspension package and to someone who takes care of cars.

So, taking these into consideration, how fast do you want to go? I think for lesser money, you can make the S14 a beast and like, BlueRB stated, LOTS AND LOTS of parts out there.

and if your gonna get a 240 are you leaving in the ka?

probably not, you can find s14 shells for hella good deals nowadays

All I have to say is right wheel drive feels good .

I need to do more research on the s chassis. This will be a whole new ball game for me if I go with it. Definitely a ton of options as far as suspension and drivetrain upgrades. I'd be happy with an 11 second 240sx that can handle with the best of them. Although the g is capable of that too, it probably wouldn't be as fun on the street as a rear wheel drive car that fast. His car is super clean from interior to exterior.

I'm leaning towards keeping the g though and probably gonna go all out with if I do keep it. I want the car done perfect the next time around as this will probably be the last car I'm modifying.

But if he offers me a good amount of $ on top of his car, which I doubt. I'll definitely do the trade and use that money for engine upgrades. Probably gonna go with a ka-t set-up.
