Here is my sleeper 2.5" exhaust on my DD. It's a 2.5" SS VRS piping kit and a SS 2.5" straight through Magnaflow muffler. It ended up costing me $333 after shipping and welding. Not too bad, but it's pretty loud:

Cops are dicks around here. If they see anything out of the ordinary, they'll pull me over.

Thanks for the props,Larry. My Garage/tools are always available for ya down here.I wish I could hear that exhaust, though, dangit

I agree, you should put a cat on there. If that isn't quiet enough, then I am afraid you are gonna have to lose the magnaflow

as for the exaust , putting cat on this week to tone it down a bit,, if I don't I'm gonna get in trouble.. it's hard to ease around without bring attention to myself!!!!! it sounds GREAT but just to dang loud... I'm going to get a sound clip of before and after, .. got a guy with a DB meter like the law enforcement has... I will post it up..

I have a 2.5 inch pipe running cat back , with a nice resonator and a 2.5 stillen exaust. sounds real nice and agressive with the intake.

It's not too bad if you don't rev past 4K but on the highway doing 75-80, the drone is pretty bad. If I have a headache, I would not event think about driving my car.

My question is this... Would it get quieter when I go boost? I don't expect much but at least some? Or, do you think I should shop for the longest resonator I can fit underneath?

TIA...

I have a T25 with a 3" downpipe, 3" test pipe, and a 3" VRS with a small resonator. I love it. It's not exactly quiet, but not obnoxious, especially just casual driving. Here's an in-car video:

I still have to do the hangers etc., but it's good for the most part
