Well, the first part is knowing where my issues are going to lie, then it's sourcing the parts. Stripping the car down and cutting will take less than a day, so there's no point in messing my garage up until I know more about what I'm going to be cutting.

So cool that you have not sold the car even though you have the BMW now.How about RWD TITAN v8 sentra!!
I know of someone doing a RWD B13. I was sworn to secrecy, and wont leak more info on this, but it is a member here.
However I have seen the progress in person(over a year ago) ...at that time the whole chassis was on a jig of sorts with the entire floor cut out from firewall to back seat.
I have not seen or heard an update since then,so who knows if its still in the works.

Yea, the B13 is one of the most likely candidates, as they're cheap and simple. No one mods a B14, which is why I like it as a project car. As far as a V8 goes. I'm not going to attempt it. It's too large, engine management is harder to come by, and the HP gains aren't worth it. I don't want much more than 300 to the wheels. I already expect that 300 will be more than enough to get the car sideways at every opportunity. Also, I love the VQ35HR.

plus, I thought you were selling it, the last time i was updated you had thought about it or something, and i dropped out of the game. either way, your my hero, car is soo sick, whichever route you go.

I don't have emissions, I can do anything I want, pretty much. FWD would be easier to redo, but It's not worth the time, anymore. It was a beast, but I never, ever, ever could get the power down to the front wheels, torque steer, snapping axles 2x a year, replacing front hubs/bearings once a year, and with the BMWs, I've really taken a liking to RWD. True happiness is getting my M5 sideways, and with the Sentra's short wheelbase and light chassis, it would make an excellent drifting machine.
I have attempted to sell the B14, but I could never get any buyers, the car's been somewhat unreliable as an everyday car, plus I would regret selling it.

S-chassis is no good, there's more S-chassis "Rat rodded" cars in my area, completely taking over every drift event. The only S-chassis I want is a clean DD, like my friend's: https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5504/12664251574_2adecbc12f_h.jpgI've seen a rwd b13 at Limerock. Also, no tube chassis, I want it to appear as stock as possible. If there's a way to put back my interior, I will put back my entire interior. Maybe a partial roll bar in the rear in order to support the rear subframe.

These are both useful. I can already see one unforseen item I will have to deal with, the steering rack has to be mounted in front of the engine.
As I mentioned, V8 probably will be too large, and it's not the direction I want to go. The VQ35HR is the engine I really want.
