Now that's what I'm talking about! Did you happen to weigh the boxer motor and transmission when it was removed?

I'm so glad they removed that horrid super precise gearbox clutch and replaced it with tractor parts

As awesome as doing this is... It's not legal in pretty much any state in the US. There may be a state that will allow it, but none of the states I've lived in legally allow you to put in a larger than factory motor.

The FA20 is a beast in its own right. Guys are making well over 450whp now without issues. It is a very potent engine. I was expecting the engine to be the weakest link, but it isn't so far. 350whp daily should do very nicely and hold up for a long time.

The HKS kit is just garbage. Looks like they hired a bum off the street to develop it. I'm not a hater, but it is retarded. The piping looks like an afterthought to the supercharger placement. The Vortech kit looks a million times better, and is nearly half the price.

meh... if it can be done legally in the Peoples Republic of California it can probably be done anywhere

Project FD part 2: Inside the GM LS-3 E-ROD crate engine

That said, i'm not really all about cross breed swaps and will be watching intently for further subyota f20whatever-the-hell-it-is development.

LS_BRZ will be fun though... lol

Really?

Well we do we have a Turbo LSX 350Z that fully passed inspections/emissions here in CT?

DMV came right to the shop to do the visual and plug in test.

Legal when done correctly here in CT.
