Kei "K" cars are the "IT" car in Japan, America is not far behind. How else can you explain Smart, Fit, etc....

In the same breathe, why are SUVs and Trucks increasing in size and mass?

Not arguing with you there. Heck I just bought a 16mpg Frontier 4x4.

However, I see more and more people buying smaller cars. Once we see $5/gal it will be interesting to see what happens.

I myself hope that America can keep the big car image, being 6'5" and having to sell my 350 because it was giving me neck problems from having to twist my neck to see traffic lights.

Whats so hard about.

2L motor making 200-220 WHP NA.
2L motor making 280-320 WHP Turbo.

Lets have a car at 2600-2800 pounds.

Lets have a car which can be had 2 door and 4 door.

Lets have a car which is RWD. ( I will settle for FWD NA and AWD Turbo )

Can we say S16 USA model.

Hey Nissan you finally brought the GTR to the USA damn near 20 years late, but you got it here. So lets get some S16 action.

Oh Fuck that 1.6L Turbo Juke shit.

2L or fuck off.

I really don't know what is the big deal about the FRS/BRZ. Just because is rear wheel drive? Now everybody is or want to be a drift king or a road course king. 0-60 in 6.8 sec and 1/4 in the mids 15s? Bah! That is slow for today's standards, also $25K? That is not cheap. Plus add the dealer mark up, it could be $27K+. Of course, it selling like crazy right now, just because is brand new. A lot of cars sell good when they are brand new. I think is going to be a "temporary" success.

I don't blame Nissan for not creating another rear wheel drive car. It just not profitable. The next Z will be smaller, lighter, cheaper and problably will have a 4 cylinder turbo in it. They can make a 2+2 version too.

I'll be happy with an smaller and lighter SE-R, FWD or AWD, specially if comes out as a two door coupe with a decent engine, transmission and suspension, for less than $24K. Or may be it is time to look outside Nissan, but never Toyota or Honda.

I was hoping they make a SE-R version of the Versa, since the Sentra is getting bigger every 4 years, but that is not going to happen, and I dont think is good looking either, this is your new Versa:

This car is so ugly. Such a good idea in such an ugly package.

FTFY

Ever since those French bastards took over, company has been down hill. FYI Nissan and Renault started in 1999, ever since then Nissan cars have been going down hill quickly.

Funny because; Have you ever owned a pre-1999 Nissan?

That car is the new Nissan Note, just got today the Nissan Japan newsletter. It is going to presented in november in Japan. The motor in this one is a 3 cylinder supercharged, no further details, it only says DIG-S
日産:ノート [ NOTE ] 先行特è¨*サイト

This same car is projected to be built in the Aguascalientes-2 plant in Mexico, currently under construction.
