Don't get me wrong I love the brz.. It's just in don't like their owners. Not you guys but all these young kids getting it and thinking they got some kind of race car and then dropping in 6k hid bulbs. Almost all the typical frs owners are like this. The owners think their car will beat an evo/z/g/... Etc.

I wish it wasn't a boxer but then Toyota doesn't make any nice four banger anymore. Still waiting for some one to do an sti sswap

Re: FRS is here!
Toyota should have brought out a bored out 2zz ge engine for the brz. That would have been awesome.

The 2zz has its own laundry list of issues. And the FA20 makes a lot more torque. It's like having a flat sr20. lol.

But once again we must turn to the baby Jesus who once said "He who shall be last, shall be sideways and smiling."

Jeremy Clarkson tests the GT86, and the stig gets to drive it around the track.

Surprisingly, the GT86 ran a nearly identical time to the 350z. Not bad for prius tires.

127.5 is the time to beat to match the 370Z. 4 seconds is a lifetime lol.

Quoted for truth... and there is no room to bore out a 2zz... if you are so inclined you can stroke it with a 1zz crank blah blah but in all reality even with thousands and thousands of dollars thrown at them the struggle to make over 210 whp NA and have crap for torque. FA20 plus some boost is the way to go (or who knows, maybe they will prove to like NA mods too...).
