good luck with the car and the wait. there is an order thread on nasioc for wrx's, and those took almost 3 months, hopefully the brz wont be as bad..

We've had at least 3 FRS's at every autocross this year, and 5 FRS's and 1 BRZ just last sunday! They are outstanding machines for autocross.Well balanced, good power, fairly light.Gonna give the Miata folks a helluva run for the money. And for the record, around here nobody has paid an unruly dealer markup, and we had 2 of the first 86 cars delivered.

Due to the fact that the injectors are such high pressure the flow capability of the injectors is very good.

Seems like that shop may not know what they are doing when it comes to DI tuning. I would almost bet that the factory injectors would probably have supported 324whp.

They kept the DI from what I've heard...they're not very liberal with their posts though if you know what I mean.

They did keep the DI. And the E85 fetish continues. Making 20+whp on an E85 tune, the ECUtek racerom allows for on-the-fly map switching in case you want to run either fuel.

Awesome!

E85 on factory computer runs up to 290whp??? The port injectors are 200cc, so they max out around 150whp by themselves. The DI have a lot of CC capability, but I think together they max out at around 300whp.

I can't wait to see what comes next. the disco potato is a perfect turbo for this car. It keeps stock injectors, and makes awesome power on such low boost with virtually no lag. The high compression ratio works amazing with turbo and DI.

Every magazine article ive read about the FRS and BRZ have nothing but praise for the car. Outstanding handling, stylish exterior and interior. Great feel and again like they said, this is the first rwd, lightweight car to come out of japan in a long time and its supposed to bring that tuner edge that the 240sx and so on brought when they came out.

People say wish it came turbod, wish it came with more power. Fact is with a turbo it would have cost over 30k and thats not what the plan for the car was. Im sure there will be tons of aftermarket and even factory FI upgrades for these cars. Fact is most people dont keep the stock turbo on a car for long anyways and hence the "Tuner" feel of the car. Allows the buyer to spend the money on what he/she wants to do to the car performance wise and see the gains along the way.

Just like that age old phrase "Built not Bought"

I personally like the FRS better than the BRZ and cant wait to see what the car is capable of. I think they made the right move with the car and im sure the sales will show
