Sigh; Every single thread reads "My name is Jordan and I have a VVL B13 with N1 cams and 206hp bla bla bla"

Really that's interesting, so all 50,000 threads I posted about my own car yet have 3,500 posts. This thread asked about Subaru owners. I sort of drive one or ride in one regularly. OMG

Back onto the topic.. I was recently looking for another DD, and my friend randomly texted me "05 Legacy GT - turbo and lots of room; hard to find" - and he was right, quick search didn't find many within 200+ miles.

There's this one: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/4271312223.html

but 9k seems high

Hate to say it but Ben is right, you do mention how your lightweight econobox is faster then STI's. This is power to weight doing the work for you, same reason why Arial Atom is freaking fast. Give your car another 800lbs and it will be as slow as the 2010 Impreza... my 2900lbs P11 with VE and N1 cams (~190whp) was as loud and ricey as a VTAK civic, and barely got 8 seconds 0-60...

Just letting you know, we get it, no need to bring it up every time. Most Subaru's are not efficient stock, tiny turbo's, tiny exhausts, heat soak loving tiny TMIC's. Fix all of that and you will put down decent power.

There's this one: 2005 SUBARU LEGACY GT

but 9k seems high

I love and hate my legacy. I love it for the fun factor, power, room (thought I wanted 2010 Legacy's room), and real cup holders. I hate it because Subaru is years behind Nissan reliability and feature wise. The 01 Sentra budget car has some features that I would love on on the Legacy... But you can't have it all.

05 legacy does have some issues too, look at my build thread, I've been making it more reliable before really modding it. There are a few things you need to really take care of before you can have a reliable car.

Also stay away from auto's, just like our SR20 auto's the Subaru ones are useless.

I really don't see it, I mentioned the STI because its a Subaru and OP of this thread wrote about people moving from Nissans to Subarus, I think that with a motor swap and staying NA in an old economy car you can be dead even with a brand new $34k or however much boosted car is pretty good. I know that adding 800lbs or tinkering with the STi would change that, I even call the car the "lawmower sentra" myself.. its not a big deal

That would be the main reason, I need 4 doors and a relatively large trunk. And yep just test drove a 2001 G20t auto at a dealer last week, said to the salesman "mind if I get on it?" he's like "sure go ahead" and I stepped on it, kind of had to make sure I was actually hitting the throttle..

Friend of mine has a 2008 I think? Really nice, awesome in the snow and quick

Oh @ny5speed not sick of the Altima but it's just too damn big and MPG is lousy (18-20 city kind of crappy for an Altima)

IIRC one of the car rags back in the day reviewed a P11 auto and said it felt like they were driving with the E-brake on.

Keep in mind an 08 Forester is the same bodystyle/size as my 04. They are much smaller then 09+ Foresters (which are full sized SUV's).

Legacy is not as big as the Altima, but is bigger then the P11 (I was worried it would be the same size). MPG is lousy for me, 16-17 city (30mph avg), and 25 mpg highway (stock).
