Pretty rare car. I see more FXTs than I do OXTs. Looks nice and clean. How many miles? What's the first mod going to be?

My original intention was to buy an FXT. I went to check out one of the three that was for sale at a Used-Subies-Only place where I got my sister's 03 outback, this was sitting there waiting for me... I never see them in 5sp or cloth and this was both so I had to have it. First mods are already done as it came with a Cobb intake and some sort of short-shifter that I still have to inspect. It has 120k on it which were clearly all highway miles as the thing is SUPER clean, the timing belt was already done. My personal first mods will simply be going through the suspension and replacing anything that's a little tired. After that will be upgraded brakes and then down the line some I'll be looking at up/down pipes, intercooler, exhaust, tune and possibly a bigger turbo... but that's not a near-future plan. I really was just in need of a more adult car for work that can swallow up all of my photo gear and get better than the 16mpg I was getting out of the escalade. I am very happy with my choice so far.

Already put her to work at Watkins Glen this weekend:

You may already have the de-catted up pipe which flows pretty well and saves a minor hassle of an install. Look for the sensor wire that goes out of the piep from the EGT and plugs into the harness by the strut tower next to the boost control box.

Finally had a chance to intall the Mann Engineering Coilovers. The differance is night and day. Car handles like its suppose to. No more body roll and I can switch lanes and make turns with added confidence. Even the steering and brakes are improved. I am very happy with these coilovers.

I haven't had a chance to adjust the settings or the ride height yet. I think I'm gonna raise the rear a bit.
