Yep, chopped out everything in the way, and used silicon, or hot-melt glue where necessary.

The boost gauge was the first one I did, and while it's far from pretty under the surface, it looks perfect once everything is closed up. Mechanical gauges are the most difficult because they're so deep, and they've got a hard line coming out the back as well.
