One tip I've come across if you find your 1/2" drive is slipping in the hole a little bit, is either spend obscene amounts of money for the unit from nisstune or cut a peice of aluminum can off and wrap it around 3 sides of your wrench.

Pure genius! I couldn't get my drain plug undone for the life of me. Maybe I need to try that next time.

MT-90 or Lightweight Shockproof, or a combination of the 2.

Edit: Thanks V!

Can you get a replacement drain plug for these transmissions anymore?

I was all ready and frankly excited to put some mt-90 in my car. Got the fill plug off easy and then look at the drain plug and it is pretty much rounded off. The previous owner's mechanic must have put an 1/2 impact on it or something because it was pretty mangled. I really want to get fluid changed but have limited mechanical experience and tools.
Any ideas?

My fill plug will not budge and i cant get it open was thinking to drill it out ,But i dont want any shards to get into the trans i even tried to weld a bolt into the hole so i could wrench it out and the wont take the weld (makes me wonder what kinda metal its made from), i have plugs from my on NX trans still so that would save me the time looking for replacements.

I'm having the exact same problem on my p11. After welding a few bolts, then sockets, I gave up and simply used the speed sensor hole to fill it. Worked really well honestly.

What about using the vent tube that comes off the trans? That is what I plan to fill it through today. Any thoughts?

How did that work out for you?

I've filled through the vent hole once. It works, it just takes 100 years for that grabby fluid to flow through such a small hole. And the air has to also come up through it at the same time. No joke. It took 100 years.
