I used to have a 2000 G20 auto, it was VERY slow but it was the nicest car I've owned to date. After I wrecked it I looked for a 5 speed one, after driving a 99 (lowport), and 00 (roller rocker), I was impressed by how much better 00+ 5 speeds were.

99 is slower for a few reasons, 8cw crank, friction rockers, long gears.
00 is faster due to 4cw crank, roller rockers, 1st and 2nd gear are short, while 3+ is longish. It's sad when revving at 3k rpm at 70mph is considered long gearing... Also P11 has "longer" gears due to huge tires that it runs stock.

With a few mods 00+ G20's are a great daily's, besides cup holders, turbo they are even more fun!

Well I wanted a P11, but final straw (for me) was walking into a user dealer and the guy asking $5,500 for an '02 with 130k miles, not even a G20t and no leather! Auto of course.

I made a reasonable offer, he refused; I walked out, and that was it.

I got sick of these used car dealers.. so as of 2 days ago I now own a 2006 Sentra 1.8 S. Auto. Daily driver. But I think it's faster than the '02 G20 auto. AND it's 4 years newer. Nice car overall. 4 doors, lots of room. 2,600lbs, 126HP, 130ft-lbs torque. Dark blue paint. Fully loaded. Nice car overall and I got it for very good deal just needs some paint work. No leather or heated seats.. but I do think it's faster than the G20. Not by much.. but if the G20 auto ran a 18.0 the Sentra 1.8 maybe a 17.6.. not sure.

Major asset is the great MPG, it's def up there.. and I haven't done the tune up yet. Averaged 38MPG highway with cruise set at 64MPH after about 20 min

B15 has lots of room? You haven't been in the back seat yet, I could even uncross my legs... Reason I decided to keep my G20 over my B15 is interior comfort/room/build quality. But my G20 also gets 36-38mpg at 70mph, while B15 struggles to get 29.
