Wide wheels...
Alright, before you nazis go crazy, yes I want staggered wheels on my p11. I guess its the ricer inside.

My question is, will a rim that is 8.25" wide with a +25 offset side the same as a 9.75" rim with a +25 offset?

I know the +25 offset is flush with the fender on a p11. I wonder if its possible to stuff a 9.75 wide wheel on the back of a p11 though. I don't want crazy poke but a little bit is livable. Any info appreciated. Thanks!

Offset is how far out from the center of the wheel the hub meets. A wider wheel will therefore require a different amount of offset to stay flush if other variables (like hub to fender distance) are the same.

Manny, I know. Old guys like you and Rob need some big 205/65/15 tires for comfort.

Yeah I wasn't sure Randy. I was thinking that offset was the distance from the face of the rim towards the brake side. Hmmmmm

That's Rob. I prefer 225/50/R16

I will be running Falken 912 225/50-15's on the Panda for daily driving on Borbet Type B 15x7 +40 wheels. I have Advan A048 225/45-16's on Regamaster Evo 16x8 +35 for track duty

BTW 15" tires are 23.9" tall with a section width of 9.0" vs 16" tires which are 23.8" tall with a section width of 8.9" so they both take up the same amount of "space " in the wheel wells. And the track setup weighs in at 34.4 lbs each corner vs 39.5 lbs for the street setup.
