That shit pisses me off, was nice to know on my g20 that a guy from g20.net worked for the dealer, so i got some lowdown on mine before i got it. I hate when dealers lie to you, i had that happen to me on a pathfinder, owned it 1 day, and the next day i started it up and the belts snapped, was told they were new. Towed it back, got my 91 sentra trade in back, and went on with my business.

Then my 300zx twin turbo, i sold my 200sx that i ahve now, bought it (glad not for all cash) i figured finance a bit to build my credit (THANK GOD) cleaned it up, was told new jdm engine swap in it, drove it to work, then home next day and sitting at a light motor sounded weird, then got on gas and POP, motor blew due to the turbo seizing up..Towed it to the lil shit hole dealer i bought her from, and was told i was hot rodding it, i told the guy this is a 300zx fucking twin TURBO, its not a grandma car. He told me to fuck off and he was calling the police, ass hole did. I left the car on his property, and called the finance company he was putting me through and told them to stop, that i was commmiting identity theft and that the application is a false application, got them to put the STOP on that fast for financing. I lost a 600 dollar down payment, but the dealership got stuck with a z car with a blown motor that i was lied to about.

I agree with you, i beleive in fair truthfull business practices, lying just ruins your business. That dealership is not there anymore.

Thanks for the tip Dan. If I get stuck with this car I will definitely have some filling to do. Alot of the moulding seems brittle.

Thanks Dema. It does suck but it is how the used car industry works, for the most part. When I went to go visit the friend that does the body work, he actually walked me down (it was after hours) to a garage/used car dealer in the same complex. He showed me a bunch of cars that the dealer had just bought from an auction. One of the vehicles was a Honda CRV (?) that had rust rot on the rear driver quarter panel. You could basically put your fist through it. The dealer had asked my friend to fill it with bondo and paint it. "It only needs to last 30 days" were the words the guy used to my friend. Needless to say he turned the job down. Unfortunately somebody will spend end up spending their hard-earned money on a vehicle that looks clean but will fall apart in a couple months. It should be illegal to purchase a car for resale (from an auction), do rust work on it, and then not disclose it to any potential buyer. Just my two cents.

Unfortunately I paid with a draft. This is as good as cash.

That's absolutly aweful. That's as bad as selling drugs, rust in the wrong place can kill someone if impact occures. That's is stright up illegal. Shame on them imoh

All p11 will show age with pain. My car looks clean until you get close, then you see rock chips and faded paint etc. This is why I probably will repaint my car white eventually

I love P11 interior, but I am coming from a B14 interior, I soon will experience B15 and will compare. I was disappointed that B15's got sun-glass holders but P11's didn't, but P11 dash faces the driver more, so it's better for turbo gauges

I've been working on my newly acquired B15. It's miles ahead of the P11 in being more modern with features and the way things are. I at first wondered why, but then it hit me. B15's where designed in 1999 for year 2000+. P11's where designed in 1995 in Japan, essentially it was designed along with the B14.

This is why for me to go from a B14 to a P11 it was such a big upgrade, and this is why going from a B15 to a P11 is pretty much a downgrade. But I will say even I, a 5'10" medium sized guy, had issues with the backseat on the b15, my legs where crossed when I got in and for the life of me couldn't uncross them without almost snaking out of the car.

Now the Japanese P11 does have some better cup holders (they are by the hand brake)

I didn't even realize you had posted in here, Vadim. I don't think I got a message for a new post. Anyway, that is what I was trying to say about the B15. It is just more modern looking and functional. I think the B15 interior, if it were black/had leather, would be an awesome fit in the P11 and would make it an all-around nice car. I could also go without the electronic climate control of the P11. All in all though the P11 is fine. It also handles nicely considering it has no FSTB.

I plan on doing a SS 2.5" cat-back this weekend on the P11 (with my B15 aftermarket muffler), a full tune-up, a FSTB (hoping the B15 one will fit) and then next will be some wheels and rubber, 2.5" EBAY header with high flow cat and a DIY CAI. I think all of this will keep my happy until I can get the B15 completed.

V, why did you get a B15? Project car or new DD? Have you driven it yet and have you noticed the lighter feel of the car at all?

I didn't quite understand your frustrations until I started licking over the B15 and taking it apart and putting it back together. Though it sucks that an STI muffler probably wont fit under the B15 back .

There is some manual climate controls for P11, rare though. Also if you look at it, it looks more ancient then B14/B15 HVAC.

Now remember G20's have a Multi-link suspensions and the shocks (not struts), only do one job, keep the car up, there is side to side force on them. For this reason front strut bars appear to be useless for G20's. I have one, and I can't say it makes any real difference (besides making the engine bay look a little more full. B15 will not fit on P10/P11, you need a P10 one.

B15 is a new project, dedicated project that wont be DDed. I actually wanted a B13 or a early ear B14, but Keo came around and flashed his b15 and I fell into temptation . I got it as a shell, so it will be a while before she is running.

^ The muffler I have on my B15 is honestly one of the nicest sounding mufflers I have ever heard! I just wish I knew the make of it, got it 11 years ago. It is quiet and modest while under light throttle and comes alive with a deep growl while under WOT conditions.

Good point on the G20 suspension set-up. I may just have to get a front strut bar for the cool factor.

I think you will like your B15 once you mod it. Are you going to boost it or drop a RR back in there? A JDM RR with a 7000 RPM redline in a lightened B15 would be lots of fun!

Before I go ahead and try (I haven't checked as I just thought of doing this), you may alrerady know the answer, would the B15 16" wheels fit on the P11? Are the wheels studs set at the same distance apart? I should just go measure, I guess.
