because of the tune and timing but its was also partly my fault. i never had a wideband before so i assumed it read like rich lean gauge. the gauges i had in the past would read from lean to rich and my wideband read opposite so i was thinking the whole time the car was running rich because of the side the led light was on and when i youtubed my aem wideband i found out that when the gauge blanks out its running super lean lol lession learned. I bought all new parts and a low port de motor so this weekend im dropping it in and should be back on the road

Make sure you don't have any gasket maker stuck in your cooling system, it has been known to clog things up if you use too much and can cause the overheating issues you were seeing. A bad water pump will do that as well. Also, you should invest in some fresh new heater core hoses and stuff. Old hoses when heated up and under pressure can burst.

yeah i flushed out the system before the motor blew but when i put the new motor ill be sure to change the hoses and i already picked up a new water pump
