^Appparently the short cables will not work with a trans saver bracket.

It will work. The bracket doesn't cause the mounting location for the cable to move. It's remains in the original location.

- I eventually made the short cable fit, but I had to remove the rubber bushing from the cable where it fits in the spacer and the other one on the end where you adjust it to have enough slack to loop it over the shift arm.

- The B14 1.6 and 2.0 are different than the B13 2.0 cable.
