I have 7 sets of the Axxis Ultimates left, and now I'm going to the Stoptech Street Performance pads. I'm running the Stoptechs on the front of my Altima with Brembos set up and love them.

I love the Stoptech pads. They are the best street, hard driving pads I have ever used. No noise at all, some dust. The Ultimates are really good too, but they are being discontinued. Either is a good idea, but those Stoptechs are really good.

Greg, dont mean to hijack this thread at all. But i like to help out my fellow NX owners.

I have owned and run sets of the Axxis Ultimates for my NX back when I was autocrossing it in the summers. This is not a selling point over the stoptechs, as if greg feels they are better I trust him.

Anyways.. I LOVED the axxis ultimates. They will make a lot of dust, but they stop great. I would be slamming on the brakes hard from 70 mph to 20mph at a very tight 180* hairpin at autocrosses and they held a season of abuse as well. I saw that Greg had them in stock, and id like to pick up a set for myself even. If you are looking for something proven and dont mind the dust ( a very dark grey metallic dust, will clean your wheels weekly/bi weekly).. definitely consider the Axxis pads.

Greg, how long do you think you will be able to get the Axxis pads for? I will be looking for some maybe in the next month or so.

I don't know how much longer we are able to get them. I just bought the last sets in stock. This is the only reason i'm going to the Stoptech pads. If we can't get the Ultimates, I think they are the next best thing. Maybe I should make you a deal on a set so you can try them out.
