Dre, the Pulsar back home did 809awhp (over a 1000crank hp) and this was not at high boost.

The result was the picture below, which is why they switched to these newer rods.

I am very familiar with the car. I told those guys about I beam rods vs H beam rods and i explained to them why I bean rods are better and they basically told me I have no idea what I am talking about and what the hell do i know. So I left it alone, now you are telling me they have switched over to I beam rods and they cant even apologies or admit I was right.

The worst part is I was proud to see them do so well and was hoping to see them get back on the horse and make more HP but sometimes people are to big headed to be criticized.

An I beam rod generally can handle 60-75% more HP than the same H beam rod from the same company. H beams were made to be lighter, I beams were made to handle power and are always heavier because there is more metal in the rod at the sides where the load is being aplied. This stops twisting and or distortion.

Yeah im surprised those H beams handled that much power honestly. Ive seen some honda guys push Eagle H-beams to 800+whp and reving to 10k plus. I was doing roughly 650whp on my Eagle H-beams and they are still in great shape. But i wasnt chancing it on this build and am going with these same I-beam rods. They are beefy thats for sure.

I dont care who H beam rods are made by whether it be Eagle or Carillo they both seem to hold about the same exact power. Which is why I dont see the point in spending almost triple for the carrillo H-beam vs the eagle rods.

These rods are like the ultimate and I like ultimate. With the goals at hand im not taking any chances on the bottom end of this motor.

Just a little FYI. My 1st customer just made a FWD only pull, around 70+psi, made 910 WHP. Second set is on order.

Thats a lot of psi for 910whp but hey. Heres looking up. Good deal. Just placed the order for mine and cant wait to really put them to the test on my car. Awesome as always Greg.

On my car man, 35psi from a t67 h.o. It was never dynod at that psi, made 481 at 18psi, and going by what i was gaining per psi on the dyno, what the turbo is capable of, what I was seeing for injector duty cycles on ID1000's at 60psi base pressure. Its a pretty realistic guestimate. Didnt need a dyno to tell me I was close to that. Ripping apart street tires in 5th gear just pounding the limiter on a fresh paved highway leaving twin tire marks behind me to well over 160+mph, I know how much power it takes to do that. lol. And how much power it takes to rip apart 25X8.7X13 slicks at 10psi all the way down a 1/4 mile track and trap nearing 140mph wasting a lot of acceleration time.

My Eagle rods have seen nothing less than 450whp and have 15k miles on them ranging from 450whp to roughly 550whp on the 60 trim on 30 lbs, and roughly 650 on the T67 h.o. on 35 lbs. Still in perfect condition.
