Off the wall question, are the tops of the lugs removal for extended stud use? If not, are you able to get open lugs of the same type?

These are discontinued items. These are the last of them. I threaded these nuts 28mm onto a stud before it stopped on the unthreaded shoulder. They seem to be 38mm deep, but maybe a little less if not flat inside.
They are 25mm at the widest part, and take a 19mm socket to install.
