Most expensive hoses ever. =P
I think my last 50' garden hose was $3.99!

I picked them up the other day and everything looks good from here. Thanks for the candy cane!

P.S. I know this is Gspec's parts request section Ben, but I thought the IMG was very useful and worthy for the thread to be bumped.

Hose 17226 and hose 17228M (if they are compromised) can both cause a leak at anything above 50% in the tank (or less fuel and parked on a steep slope).

Hose 17020P and 17020PA are red plastic hoses that don't fail nearly as quickly as the rubber stuff, and should only ever carry vapors. No fuel should leak from here even at 100% fuel. You could smell fuel though.

Hoses 1755X and 1755XA are the fuel pump feed and return lines which are under pressure when the fuel pump is on. The hoses will not leak unless you have pressure in the system even at 100% fuel level.

To summarize, SE-RMonkey is basically right. It is either hose 17226 or 17228M.
Every hose we've talked about can be replaced pretty easily without dropping the tank.

Yes Sir, I just did 17555XA and 17555X on my XE. It was fairly easy, and no need to pull the tank, but I smelled like gas for days.

- Still need to do this #smh. Ok, as far as hose 17226, would gas poor out if I'm at a 1/4 of a tank? Today is the first time I have filled my car up in months, so I forgot about this.
