Thread: All rubber hoses that touch the fuel tank.

Hey Greg I filled the tank up in the B13 for the first time in a while and parked on a steep hill. Fuel started dripping from what seemed like every rubber hose connected to the fuel tank. I'm going to drop the tank and replace them all while I'm under there.

Just off the top of my head I'll need the two hoses that connect the filler neck to the tank (large and small hoses). I'll want the two hoses for engine feed and return that hook up to the hard lines. I think there is a hose that also goes to the charcoal canister hard line that I'll want.

Maybe there are more?

If you want, you can post up one of those nice pictures with part numbers and I can tell you which ones I want.

Hook me up with a quote though, and I'll give you the thumbs up or thumbs down on parts.

I'm 90% sure I want all of those yes. The ones in green, and the one in red.

However, the red one and the bottom green one I might just get generic stuff local, so if I could get a price for each of the 6 hoses that would help me decide if I even want to bother with those bottom two.

Ben while your at it replace the o ring that sits under the cover, they never want to go back in once taken out. trust me.

how much for the estimate my tank is leaking on my nx and idk if its the hoses or the tank itself...

$85 for the 4 Ben needs.

Stratton I've been through that before. I'm planning on dropping the tank without removing the fuel pump assembly. Otherwise I would take your timely advice and add that o-ring to my order. If it turns out I am leaking from that o-ring I'll just order it later and install it at my leisure. Thanks for reminding me though. I wasn't even thinking it might be leaking from there.

Greg, I don't have the quote in front of me right now but I recall a higher price for all four of those hoses. If you can do them for $85+shipping that's even better. (Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me.)
