Highest temperature SR20 thermostat?
Greg, I'm sure you know why I'm asking. Do you know what the options are for high temp thermostats? I sure could use something in the 80°C/176°F or 85°C/185°F range (or maybe hotter) instead of the stock one I have (76.5°C/169.7°F). I heard the later model cars got hotter thermostats?
Since moving to the AEM EMS I've found the same thing everyone else has found with the Koyo radiator. Temps stay too low (left idling it won't go over 156°F in the cold weather) until you really beat on it. I can at least solve the problem of over fueling that stock ECU people have but I'd rather be up to temp. I don't know why (sensor miscalibration?) but with the VEMS EMS it wasn't showing this problem so when you asked a long time ago I said I wasn't having the under heating problem. =/
Anyone else knowing of higher temp thermostats please chime in.
