Drivers side axle clip ....
well I lost mine in the garage as it shot across the room towards a open garage door , so now I need another one ...please help

Are these the Bobby pin things that go on the the center of the axle from the out side if so, are these important? Cause I think I've been running without them for awhile. Sorry to thread Jack

no there is a C clip on the inside of the drivers side axel that holds it in the gear box ...ot os what makes it hard to pull the axel in/out of the trans .

Bobby pin? No they are called cotter pins. And no it's not a huge deal

about them being missing, all that are on there to do is hold the retaining ring

in place so that the retaining ring won't allow the axle nut to back off. It's a

safety and you can drive without safetys. I never put those back in any of my

cars.

Nah, you just torque the axle nuts down enough to break 2 breaker bars

I'd have to order the c-clip. And you should use those cotter pins. feel pretty dumb if **** all came apart
