b15 lsd (not the tranny lsd) and price on phantop grip stuff
greg can you get b15 lsd's ? not the entire tranny just the actual lsd to put in a p11 tranny that has a busted lsd.

and can you get phantop grip lsd kit for a 91-93 se-r tranny ?

im trying to decided wich would be better to get a new b15 lsd if they are available or just stick a phantom grip lsd kit on my used se-r lsd and stick it in my p11 tranny.

if i can get them to me cheaper from you i shall do so, if not ill source them locally.

still trying to figure out the right thing to do for my tranny situation.

B15 LSD box... is that the RS5F70V???? If so I thought the LSD units from a 32 series fits? Shouldn't be too hard to find one of those I would have thought

hmmm i called smithtown nissan, guy said he doesnt have them in stock but he could order them no problem.

who knows.

i dont need a b15 lsd at this point anyways.

cracker jack all our 5 speed trannys have that are lsds are 70 series so the parts are useable/interchangeable.

He probably said that thinking he could. But i actually checked the part# and found out. I wouldn't say the "parts" are interchangeable, but the difs are. gears are totally different...

thats exactly what i was saying... diff's from a RS5F32V will fit into the RS5F70V box.... swap the ring gear from the 70 series diff over and your done :-)

You're saying the 70 ring gear stays in the 70 box, just swap it over to the LSD you're installing, right?
