Thread: Greg, Seeting Up Parts Order

Hey Greg, It's been a while here, due time for me to freshen up the ol' ve.

I downloaded Nissan FAST, in an attempt to gather all my own part numbers and save you some trouble, but I think it will be much easier and safer if I just spell things out for you.


Ok, here is the trouble.

My ve is seeping oil out of nearly every gasket on it.

Now I have the tranny side crank seal (12279), and I believe the oil pump side (13510) however this part number does not coincide with FAST. it says "seal-oil cranks" on the package (I bought it from you a while ago). If this is incorrect, please quote me the proper seal.


I would also like chain tensioner gasket, oil filter housing gasket's (o-rings?), the water temp sensor housing gasket, vvl solenoid gasket, ve valvecover gasket, as well as center rings, front cover o-ring. And anything else on the distributor side that uses a gasket. Do the rocker rods that have the allan plug on that end have o-rings? Anything else you can think of? I have some sort of oil leak around my harmonic balancer, and it doesn't seem to be coming from that seal (replacing it regardless). Is there a seal for the oil pump outlet that could be leaking? Looked like it on FAST.

I also need a new o-ring for my DE distributor. I am referring to the inner one that is on the end of it not the seal between the housing and cap. Could you throw in some plugs for the ve (copper).Could you give me the part number and price for a B14 tranny shift linkage seal? Oh, and throw in a few washers for a power steering pump large hose bolting onto the bottom of the pump. Also a ve oil filter please.Do you carry aftermarket rear pads for B13 brakes?

Greg, I realize a few of these things are listed on the site. If you prefer just ignore them and I will paste your quote into an order off the site.

If it is not a pita it would be great to see individual prices.

On a second note, I was going to ask you if you could give me an idea as to when this stuff will ship?

I was planning to take the motor out this weekend, however If you don't think the order will be ready by the weekend after that (Friday the 27th). I would like to know. If everything but the special order items can be sent that's great, go ahead and send them staggered. Changing out those vvl gaskets won't be too bad with the motor in the car.

The special order stuff will be awhile. The other stuff i should be able to get to you by next weekend.
