That isn't true. I figured this out several years ago. The resistance on the sensor is different from older lowports to the RR. The post I had back in 06 say 16.9ohm for b15 worked. I ran that for a year with no issues... Check the FSM it TELLS you what the ecu is looking for... This stuff isn't rocket science, just reading.

we had a guy on g20.net try all sorts of resistors. The RR was supposedly looking for a change in temperature that the resistor wasn't reproducing. If you got it to work on yours that is great news. Maybe link us to your posts. I searched through the b15 forum and sr forum over the years and never once seen anyone get this to work.

It is in the big egr b15 thread over on b15 forum. It is not looking for change. It has 2 situations it looks for temperature values and the ranges overlap.... Several others did it also and it worked for them several years ago also. Reading the FSM tells you everything. Anybody who just tried resistors obviously didn't read it to know what it was looking for.

but you still need the black 6 prong connector with the green connector plugged in yes?

I stand corrected, the person that didn't get it to work didn't post on g20.net that he fixed the CEL. I just read the EGR thread on B15sentra.net.

Yes on the B15 you have to have that plugged in still also. Otherwise it throws the car into safe mode if it doesn't see the egr's stepper motor.
